NORMAN – Five members of the No. 1 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team combined to capture a conference-leading 10 All-Big 12 accolades, the conference announced Wednesday.

This season marks the 15^th straight year the Sooners have led the league in All-Big 12 selections and the 15^th consecutive season the Sooners have earned at least eight spots on the All-Big 12 team.

The All-Big 12 squad consists of the conference gymnasts with the top three highest national qualifying scores (NQS) on each event in addition to the top two all-around gymnasts. The Sooners occupied at least two spots on every event, including a sweep on bars.

Junior Jordan Bowers led the way with four honors, bringing her career total to 12 All-Big 12 accolades. The Lincoln, Neb., native earned her third career honor on vault, bars and floor and her second in the all-around.

Senior Katherine LeVasseur and sophomore Faith Torrez each picked up a pair of honors. LeVasseur is up to six career honors with her third honor on vault and second on bars. Torrez earned her second career beam nod and first on floor to bring her career total to three.

Seniors Audrey Davis and Ragan Smith earned nods on beam and bars, respectively. Davis has now earned four consecutive All-Big 12 honors on the uneven bars, while Smith has brought home eight career honors with four on beam.

The Sooners will vie for a 14th Big 12 Championship under head coach K.J. Kindler on Saturday right here in Norman. OU will take on conference rivals BYU, Denver, Iowa State and West Virginia at 6:15 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
