NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's gymnastics team is ranked No. 2 in the national rankings this week, but junior
Emre Dodanli continues to lead the country on floor exercise and redshirt sophomore
Fuzzy Benas tops the rankings in the all-around again this week.
Teams and individuals are ranked again this week based on a four-score system, two of which must be from away meets. The highest score is dropped, and the remaining three scores are averaged. OU's average of 414.533 includes its 417.800 scored against California on Feb. 10, its 415.300 scored against Navy on March 9 and its 410.500 at Stanford/vs. Cal on March 16.
Oklahoma, which leads the nation in four events, sits behind No. 2 Stanford (415.133), which took over the top spot after scoring a 421.150 on Saturday, No. 3 Michigan (411.350), No. 4 Illinois (411.017) and No. 5 Nebraska (410.217).
The Sooners hold the national lead on floor exercise (70.133), pommel horse (69.850), vault (72.417) and horizontal bar (68.933). OU ranks third on parallel bars (68.267) and fourth on still rings (67.650).
