"We knew it was going to be a tough dual here," head coach Roger KishĀ said. "I'm happy with how some of these guys performed, but at the end of the dayĀ we had a few guys who maybe didn't step up toĀ the challenge tonight and I think that's something we have to go back and figure out."

Conrad Hendriksen and Gabe VidlakĀ opened the dual at 125 and 133 pounds, respectively. Hendriksen was matched up with No. 10Ā Troy Spratley, who won byĀ fall at 1:03. Vidlak racked up fiveĀ escape points,Ā but surrenderedĀ six takedowns and a reversalĀ to drop the bout 20-5 via tech fall.Ā

The Cowboys would pick up their third straight bonus point win at 141 pounds, as No. 8 Tagen Jamison pinned OU's Carter Schmidt at 0:54.Ā

As it was in the first Bedlam dual on Dec. 10, No. 21Ā Willie McDougaldĀ got the Sooners on the board at 149Ā pounds with his highest ranked win of the season. The redshirt juniorĀ was able to prevent No. 15 Jordan Williams from landing a single shot, riding a first period takedown to a 5-2 victory.Ā

"When you compete in an environment like this, it's good preparation for what's to come as we head into the post season,"Ā KishĀ said. "I'm really proud of the guys who stepped up."

No. 30Ā Jared hill was defeatedĀ by No. 11Ā Teague Travis, 11-1Ā in a major decision at 157Ā pounds. In a rematch from this season's first edition of Bedlam, No. 21 Cael Carlson dropped his bout at 165 pounds to No. 3 IzzakĀ Olejnik, 8-2.

Tate Picklo put on aĀ showĀ at 174Ā pounds versus No. 20Ā Brayden Thompson, claiming a 5-2Ā upset win thanks to a last-second takedown in sudden victory. With the victory, the Mustang, Okla., product snapped a seven-match losing streak in dualsĀ while pickingĀ up his first career Bedlam win in the process.Ā

Giuseppe Hoose looked to play spoiler while matched up with No.Ā 2Ā Dustin Plott,Ā but was overtaken early and lost the 184-pound bout via tech fall, 19-4. Adding on for the Cowboys with a third tech fall, No. 17 Luke Surber defeated OU's Carson Berryhill, 17-2.Ā

Kish's team left Stillwater with one more win at the heavyweight divisionĀ when Josh HeindselmanĀ tallied a late reversalĀ in the third period to knock off No. 9Ā Konner DoucetĀ and finish the regular season with an 18-4Ā record. With the win, the three-time NCAA qualifierĀ creates momentum as he heads into Big 12s, where he entered the day ranked 12thĀ at 285Ā pounds. Heindselman'sĀ Bedlam win on Sunday marked the fifth of his career.Ā

"The most important aspect moving forward is finding a level of confidence heading into Big 12's," KishĀ said. "Having these guys truly believe that they're capable of success and reaching the pinnacle of the Big 12 Tournament is going to be big for us."

The Sooners now turn their focus to the Big 12 Championships slated for March 9-10Ā in Tulsa, Okla., at the BOK Center. For ticketing information, fans can access Big 12 ticketsĀ online.Ā
