NORMAN – The reigning four-time national champion Oklahoma softball program announced its 52-game 2025 regular season schedule Thursday.
The Sooners' 2025 schedule includes 10 games against last season's Women's College World Series qualifiers, 18 contests vs. NCAA Super Regional teams and 31 matchups with NCAA Tournament clubs. Nine of OU's 2025 opponents finished last season ranked among the top 25 in the final coaches poll, with another two receiving votes.
Oklahoma opens its title defense on Feb. 6 with a pair of games at SDSU Softball Stadium in San Diego, meeting CSUN and San Diego State to begin a six-game road trip in California. OU will also play Cal Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, LMU and Long Beach State over Feb. 6-9. The Sooners continue non-conference action on the road in Waco, Texas, Feb. 15-16 when they play Hofstra and Baylor twice each.
OU begins a 13-game homestand with their home opener on Feb. 20, welcoming Abilene Christian and Wichita State to Love's Field. The Sooners will also host Bowling Green, Tulsa, UMKC, Kansas and Marshall over the course of two Love's Field tournaments Feb. 20-23 and Feb. 28-March 2.
Head coach
Patty Gasso's squad begins its inaugural SEC campaign with a home series vs. South Carolina March 7-9. Oklahoma then plays back-to-back weekends on the road at Arkansas (March 14-16) and Missouri (March 21-23) before welcoming Tennessee to Love's Field March 28-30.

The 2025 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 6-10 at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Ga.

Those games will be at Tulsa (March 12), vs. East Texas A&M University (March 19), at Wichita State (March 26), at UT Arlington (April 1), vs. St. Thomas (April 4) and vs. UCF (April 4-5). The Sooners will also meet Oklahoma State for a neutral-site game April 9 in Oklahoma City at Devon Park.
