Nunez and Benas qualified for the U.S. Championships with their showings at the USA Gym Core Classic, held earlier this month in Hoffman Estates, Ill., just outside of Chicago. Bereznev qualified with his performance at the USA Gymnastics Development Program National Championship, held in Oklahoma City in May.

Moldauer, who competed at OU from 2016-19, is a member of the U.S. National Team, won the senior men's all-around at 2023 Winter Cup and was a 2020 Olympian.

The U.S. Gymnastics Championships serve as the selection competition for USA Gymnastics' National Teams for junior and senior women and men and will determine the men's rosters for the 2023 FIG World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium and the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, which will be held this fall. Women's competition will help determine invitees to the Pan American Games/World Championships selection camp in September.
