November 08, 2023 | Women's Tennis
NORMAN – Oklahoma women's tennis head coach Audra Cohen and the Sooners welcomed Chloé Nöel to the program for the Spring 2024 season today.
Nöel, who hails from France, has climbed as high as No. 92 in the ITF singles rankings and has a singles WTA career high of 755.
"We are ecstatic to add a player of Chloé 's caliber to our team," Cohen said. "Chloé 's game style is unique and very difficult to play against. She creates constant pressure and disrupts the opponent well, and we are excited to help her continue to develop her strengths. Undoubtedly, her aggressive game will make an immediate impact on our team."
Nöel has won two titles in her junior's career, winning the J5 Reykjavik and J4 Dublin in 2019.
"I am really happy and excited to start this new adventure at OU in January," Nöel said. "I'm so proud to train with incredible coaches and teammates who will help me grow and become better. Let's dream big all together! Boomer Sooner!"
The Sooners will return to the court in January for spring duals. A schedule will be released at a later date.
