2024 Football Season Tickets and Sooner Club Membership Details Announced

The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department announced Thursday new details for 2024 football season tickets, as well as the process for Sooner Club membership and season ticket renewals.
As OU enters the Southeastern Conference (SEC) officially on July 1, 2024, the athletics department is seizing every opportunity to advance the student-athlete and fan experiences. Details are outlined below, including the Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium’s seat reconfiguration plan, the timeline for the annual Sooner Seat-Selection Process, Sooner Club membership and football season ticket renewals, new football season ticket pricing and how to become a new season ticket holder for the 2024 season.

The athletics department is preparing on several fronts to enter its new conference, including modifying existing operations to align with SEC regulations. One such regulation will require OU to adjust the seating arrangements for both students and visiting team fans. For students, the new sections will add additional seats, bringing students as close to the field as possible and allowing for every opportunity to impact the game. The new student seating for 2024 is consistent with, or better than, other SEC stadiums, with OU's students all being located in the lower deck as opposed to at least half of other SEC schools that have some middle- and upper-deck student seating.
Also, in keeping with SEC regulations, visiting team seating availability will double to 5,000 from the 2,500 Big 12 allocation, with 2,000 of those required to be in the lower deck. These seating arrangement adjustments will impact public and donor season ticket holders. Information has been directly communicated to those groups with instructions for next steps to secure their new seat locations.
To adhere to SEC regulations, beginning in the 2024 season, OU will be required to adjust some seating locations for these group-specific seating requirements. The student sections will be moved outside the 30-yard line on the north end to occupy the lowest area of section 20 as well as sections 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28. The visiting team sections will be in the north end zone and east upper deck. Two thousand seats will be held for the visiting team in sections 15 and 16 and will include space for the visiting team band to access the field without disrupting the OU fan experience. Three thousand visiting team seats will be held in sections 226 – 235.
Season ticket holders impacted by this reconfiguration plan include those in sections 15, 16 (rows 6-28 and 57-72), 20 (rows 6-28), 22, 23, 24 and 25. Despite the disruption, the athletics department is committed to providing all affected ticket holders with the most optimal options, providing first access to seats throughout the stadium, including available seats in the north end zone. In anticipation of the required SEC changes and to ensure a comparable game day experience for those impacted, the department proactively refrained from selling available north end zone seats as season tickets for the 2023 season.
Season ticket holders in these impacted locations have received notification outlining action steps via email and mail to the addresses on their OU Athletics account. 2024 Sooner Seat-Selection Process Beginning in October

To accommodate the necessary seat reconfiguration plan noted above, the annual Sooner Seat-Selection Process will now begin in October, allowing any seat location changes to be finalized prior to 2024 Sooner Club membership and football season ticket renewals becoming available in November.
Season ticket holders impacted by the stadium seat reconfiguration plan will have the first opportunity to select new seats for the 2024 season. To determine selection times, the affected group will be ranked via Sooner Points associated with their OU Athletics account. Sooner Points accumulate through OU Athletics lifetime season ticket purchases, seat-related giving history and attendance. After the affected group has been assigned selection times, the non-affected group will be ranked in Sooner Point order and assigned selection times. If non-affected season ticket holders do not wish to change their seat location(s) for the 2024 season, no action is needed.
Assigned selection times, details on when the interactive seat map will be live and additional instructions will be provided via email to all season ticket holders’ accounts prior to the start of the selection process.
The Sooner Seat-Selection Process has previously occurred in early summer and allows existing and new season ticket holders to log into an online interactive seat map to view, add and/or change your seat locations based on available inventory. This process mirrors the platform previously used for the home-seat-upgrade process for football and men’s basketball.
2024 Sooner Club Membership and Football Season Ticket Renewals
Available in November
2024 Sooner Club membership and football season ticket renewals will be live in November following the completion of the Sooner Seat-Selection Process. This marks the first year both the required annual per-seat donation and season ticket costs will launch at the same time.
A seven-month payment plan or payment-in-full option will be available to all Sooner Club members and season ticket holders. Both the Sooner Club membership and football season tickets renewals must be paid in full, or donation and ticket payment plans confirmed by March 1, to secure a spot for the 2024 season. Opting into a monthly payment schedule by March 1 will allow season ticket holders to continue payments through May 31.
Away Game Ticket Requests
Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to request away game tickets in November when renewing 2024 football season tickets. When season ticket holders log in to their OU Athletics account, they will initiate payment in full or opt into a payment plan for season tickets, then be led through the request process. The Sooners' inaugural SEC season will feature road games at Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Ole Miss. OU and Texas will also meet for their annual matchup at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, with the Sooners serving as the designated home team in 2024.
To be considered for away-game allocations, season tickets must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan for both Sooner Club membership and football season tickets.
Investing in Champions Through the Inspiring Champions Fund
Sooner Club members will note an “Optional Gift” outlined on their Sooner Club membership renewal statement directed to the Inspiring Champions Fund. As OU moves into the SEC, the athletics department is set on providing a transformative student-athlete experience, attracting and training the best and brightest and building world-class facilities. Investing in the Inspiring Champions Fund provides critical resources for OU to inspire success on the stage of competition, in the classroom and in life.
In addition to making a pivotal impact, completing the optional gifts to the Inspiring Champions Fund provides 50 Championship bonus points. Championship Points are utilized for ticket benefits, including seat locations for the biggest away games such as the Red River Rivalry and postseason play.

eCheck Payments Offered for Sooner Club Contributions
eCheck, also known as bank draft, will be offered as a new payment method for 2024 Sooner Club membership renewals. eCheck will be an option to select when making a payment in full or opting into a payment plan through each OU Athletics account. Those who make payments via eCheck will receive a one-time bonus-point incentive of 25 Sooner Points and 25 Championship Points to their account.
2024 & 2025 Season Ticket Information
New Football Season Ticket Pricing for the 2024 & 2025 Seasons
With affordability and a growing fan base in mind, new season ticket pricing tiers will be introduced in 2024 and will remain for the 2025 season. As every season ticket holder and Sooner Club member is critical to the mission to advance the athletics department, OU will remain one of the most affordable ticket offerings in the SEC with over 20 different price points throughout Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Season tickets will vary in price depending on seat location and whether they are donation-based or public. For the 2024 season, approximately 47% of stadium tickets will have a lower per-game ticket cost compared to the 2023 season. Season ticket costs and any applicable Sooner Club seat donations will be required annually before tickets are received.
Both season tickets and Sooner Club membership renewals will begin in November, and the most flexible season ticket payment plan to date will be offered. To secure a spot for the 2024 season, season tickets and Sooner Club memberships can either be paid in full or via a monthly payment plan by the commitment date of March 1. If opting for a monthly payment plan, all payments are due by May 31.

Those who are not current season ticket holders but want to secure seats for the Sooners’ inaugural season in the SEC can make a $130 per-seat deposit to have the opportunity to view and select seats in Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium prior to the public. New season ticket holders will participate in the Sooner Seat-Selection Process, starting in October. While inventory is limited, options will include new midfield inventory in sections 29 and 30 due to the relocation of some of the student section, and best-available seats throughout the stadium.
Season ticket costs and any applicable Sooner Club per-seat donations will be required annually before tickets are received. At the time of seat selection, new season ticket holders can pay in full or opt into a seven-month payment plan for both season tickets and required donations.
