NORMAN – The Oklahoma baseball team will face McLennan College in an exhibition scrimmage at 3:30 p.m. Friday at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The scrimmage was moved up from a scheduled 5:30 p.m. start.
Admission is free, and gates will open at 1:30 p.m. Concessions and restrooms will be open for fans in attendance.
The Sooners are in their seventh year under head coach
Skip Johnson, while the Highlanders are in their second year under head coach Tyler Johnson. This will be the second straight year the father-son duo has brought their teams together for a fall scrimmage in Norman.
Oklahoma will play another fall exhibition scrimmage next Friday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. against UT Arlington at Mitchell Park. The Mavs are coached by former five-year OU assistant and second-year head coach Clay Van Hook. The scrimmage will mark the end of fall team workouts.
All OU baseball fall intrasquad scrimmages and practices are open to the public.
