Four Sooners Awarded MPSF Academic Honors

NORMAN – Four Oklahoma men's gymnasts were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic team, the conference announced Wednesday.

Junior Alan Camillus, redshirt junior Josh Corona, senior Spencer Goodell and sophomore Daniel Simmons were all honored by the conference. 

In addition to MPSF honors, all four of OU's MPSF all-academic members were named to the Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team last month.

To qualify as a MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete, gymnasts must maintain a 3.00 or better cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically.

The Sooners finished as the national runners-up at the NCAA Championship Finals this season.
