NORMAN – Win and advance.

The top-ranked Oklahoma's women's gymnastics team used a stellar performance Thursday night to advance to the NCAA Norman Regional Final, posting a 198.175 in the second round inside Lloyd Noble Center. Arkansas (196.975) will join the Sooners in the regional final along with Minnesota and California who advanced from the afternoon session.

Jordan Bowers and Danae Fletcher shared the vault title with Minnesota's Lexy Ramler and Ona Loper. Bowers also won the uneven bars title with a career-best 9.975 and floor with a 9.95, sharing with Minnesota's Mya Hooten. Ramler took home the beam title with a 9.95 and shared the all-around with teammate Loper with a 39.675.

The Sooners posted their fifth-best floor score at a regional with a 49.525 in the opening rotation. Bell Johnson got the meet started off strong with a 9.9. In the No. 2 spot, Carly Woodard added a 9.850, followed by a 9.85 from Danae Fletcher. Danielle Sievers showed off her upgraded first pass with a full in and a strong double back for a 9.9. Jordan Bowers opened her routine with a sky-high double pike and stuck it flawlessly to tie her career best with a 9.95. Ragan Smith anchored with an upbeat performance and strong tumbling for a 9.925.

OU tallied a season-high on vault and posted its third best event score in regional competition with a 49.550 on vault. Allie Stern fought for the stick on her 1.5 and opened the second rotation with a 9.9. Katherine LeVasseur followed with a strong 1.5 of her own for a 9.800. Bowers was phenomenal in the No. 3 spot as she stuck her 1.5 cold for a 9.95. Sievers showcased a big 1.5 for a 9.85, followed by a 9.9 on a nearly stuck 1.5 from Olivia Trautman. Anchoring with a career-best 9.95 was Fletcher who stuck her 1.5.

The bars squad kept things rolling with a 49.625, the third highest score at an NCAA regional in program history. Sievers led things off with a stuck dismount and strong handstands for a 9.9. LeVasseur followed up with a 9.875. In the No. 3 spot, Karrie Thomas showcased her impressive handstands for a 9.850. Smith stuck her double layout dismount cold to post a 9.925 in the No. 4 spot. Bowers kept up with her impressive night, adding another stuck dismount and tying her career high with a 9.975. Davis anchored with a stunning routine for a 9.95.

OU wrapped up the meet with a 49.475 on beam. Leading off the final rotation was Jenna Dunn with a strong 9.9 as she nailed her triple series and showcased beautiful leaps. Trautman was steady as always with a stuck round off 1.5 dismount for a 9.9 of her own. LeVasseur stuck her gainer full dismount after a stunning performance and floaty series for the third 9.9 of the night for the Sooners. Davis was superb in the No. 4 spot for yet another 9.9. Anchoring was Smith with a 9.875 to close out the rotation and the meet for Oklahoma.

The Sooners will compete Saturday night at 5 p.m. CT in the regional final against host Arkansas, California and Minnesota for a chance to advance to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, April 14-16.
