He picked up his second consecutive, and third of the year, MPSF Gymnast of the Week award Tuesday, followed by earning his second College Gymnastics Association Gymnast and Rookie of the Week honors Wednesday.

Benas started the night on floor with a career-high 14.200 to tie for the individual event title. He registered a 13.550 on pommel horse, followed by a 13.900 on still rings. On vault, the freshman notched a 15.000, the highest individual score of the night. He claimed another individual event title on parallel bars with a 14.250 and ended the night with a 13.600 on high bar.

The Sooners take a week off of competition before the MPSF conference championship on April 2, in Palo Alto, California.
