NORMAN ā The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team remained No. 2 in the nation after the eighth week of the season. The Sooners boast a national qualifying score (NQS) of 197.860 after the second week of NQS rankings.
NQS is based on a team's six best regular season scores, three of which must be away. The overall high score is eliminated, and the five remaining scores are averaged. NQS scores are used to determine seeding for NCAA regional competition in April.

On the events, the Sooners are No. 1 on beam (49.505), No. 2 on bars (49.500), No. 4 on floor (49.500) and No. 5 on vault (49.365).
Individually, at least two Sooners are ranked on every event with at least one in the top five on all four events and the all-around. Audrey Davis is the lone Sooner ranked in the all-around with a 39.480 NQS, good for No. 5 in the country.
On vault, Katherine LeVasseur is ranked No. 2 in the nation with a 9.930 NQS. Jordan Bowers is No. 4 with a mark of 9.915.
Three Sooners are ranked on bars with Davis coming in at No. 1 (9.940). Bowers is tied for 12th (9.905) and Karrie Thomas is No. 22 (9.890).
The No. 1 beam team boasts four ranked athletes, including No. 1 Ragan Smith (9.975). Carly Woodard is No. 5 (9.935). Davis is ranked 19th (9.900) and Jenna Dunn is 25th (9.880).
On floor, Smith is ranked No. 5 (9.935) and Bowers is 16th (9.920).
The Sooners will host No. 1 Michigan Friday inside Lloyd Noble Center. The meet is slated for a 7:45 p.m. CT start on ESPN2. The five member senior class of Emma LaPinta, Allie Stern, Karrie Thomas, Olivia Trautman and Carly Woodard will be honored in a post-meet ceremony.
