Oklahoma wrestling head coach Lou Rosselli announced the addition of five signees for the 2023 recruiting class. All five are ranked in the top 20 of their respective classes.
"Our signees have an enormous amount of talent," head coach Lou Rosselli said. "I am excited to get them here to Norman this summer to start working with them."Ā Ā
No. 15 recruit in the 152-pound weight class
Won the 152-pound OSSAA state championship in 2021 and 2022
Placed second in the 16U freestyle at the 2021 Fargo Freestyle
Finished second at the 2022 United World Wrestling
Earned first place at the 2021 16U National Duals - Freestyle
Finished as OSSAA state runner-up his freshman year
Coach Rosselli on Evans:
"He is a great in-state recruit," he said. "He has won two state titles and is very gifted. His talent fits our program and we are excited for KJ to be a Sooner."
