FORT WORTH, Texas – The Oklahoma volleyball team dropped a four-set match at TCU Friday afternoon, 3-1, inside Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

OU was down 2-0 in the match after TCU took the first two sets. The Sooners came back to keep in the third set, 25-19, to keep the match alive, but Horned Frogs ultimately prevailed to take the match, 25-23, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17. TCU would continue to control the tempo of the fourth set, going on a 5-1 run before an OU timeout. A kill from Wilson pulled the Sooners within one, 15-14. TCU was able to close out the set on a 7-0 to win 25-17 and take the match.
The Sooners will return to McCasland Field House to host No. 14 Baylor next Wednesday, before heading to the Sunflower State to face Kansas next Sunday, Oct. 30, in Lawrence.
"It's unique to have a group that is as connected as this one, so you want it to break their way," Gray-Walton noted. "It's part of the journey this season … it's extremely uncomfortable right now, but the second half of conference play has opportunity in it. We have to approach each day that way to be proud of how we finish."
