NORMAN – The Oklahoma baseball team returns to campus this weekend for the start of the spring semester and preseason workouts will get under way shortly. The second edition of Around the Bases, highlighting OU's newcomers, features redshirt junior pitchers Griffin Miller and Brock Taylor and freshman infielder Wallace Clark.

First Base: Griffin Miller - R-Jr. - RHP
What is a skill you want to improve on the field?
Being able to be consistent with my delivery and being able to repeat those mechanics.
What is one place you most want to vacation?
New York City, so I can watch my favorite team – the Yankees.
What would be your dream career, aside from baseball?
I'd love to have my own cattle ranch.
Who is your favorite athlete, and why?
Walker Buehler, he has always been my favorite pitcher and I love his competitive attitude.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can somewhat play the piano, and I have Hunger Games talent with a bow.
Second Base: Brock Taylor - R-Jr. - RHP
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can juggle.
What is your favorite sport besides baseball?
Golf
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation – would just be cool to be able to go anywhere I wanted at any time.
What is one place you want to vacation?
I want to backpack across Europe.
Describe your perfect meal.
Steak with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese.
Third Base: Wallace Clark - Fr. - INF
What is your favorite sports moment that you've witnessed?
Game 6 of 2011 World Series.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Alex Ovetchkin, LeBron, and Albert Pujols.
What is your favorite sport besides baseball?
Football or hockey. I used to play both and they are exciting to watch.
What is one place you want to vacation?
Greece/Rome. I love the history and the sights.

Why did you choose to attend OU?
Miller: I saw a program that strived for greatness in everything. I saw a team that wants to give everything they have to push one another and help everyone grow.
Taylor: For the coaches and the atmosphere.
Clark: Love the Coaching Staff and program.
