OU to Play in Myrtle Beach Invitational

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma men's basketball program will participate in the 2021 Myrtle Beach Invitational on Nov. 18, 19 and 21, event organizers announced Thursday. The eight-team field will also include Davidson (Atlantic 10), East Carolina (The American), Indiana State (Missouri Valley), New Mexico State (Western Athletic), Old Dominion (Conference USA), Penn (Ivy) and Utah State (Mountain West).

The third annual event, which will be played at the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., will mark the first tournament for OU under new head coach Porter Moser. Past winners were UCF in 2018 and Baylor in 2019. The event was not held last season.

Ticket information and the tournament bracket will be announced at a later date.
