NORMAN - The Oklahoma rowing team returns to action Saturday when it travels to Walter E. Long Lake in Austin, Texas, for the annual Longhorn Invite.
The action begins at 7:10 a.m. CT with OU competing in the 1V8, 2V8, 1V4 and 2V4 races. In the 1V8, 2V8 and 1V4 races, the Sooners will face Alabama and SMU. The 2V4 race will feature the Sooners alongside Alabama, SMU and Texas B.
The 2V4 race will begin at 7:20 a.m. followed by the 1V8 race at 7:40 a.m. The 2V8 will push off at 8:00 a.m. with the 1V4 wrapping up the morning at 8:20 a.m. The A and B finals will begin at 8:50 a.m. CT.
The Sooners will compete against a field that includes host No. 2 Texas, No. 10 Alabama, No. 14 SMU, Notre Dame, Tulsa and Central Oklahoma.
