t's finally time for the NCAA Championships! The Sooners will begin their quest for their fifth national title in program history, this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas. Before the team heads out, here's a look at the 2021 season. The Sooners will compete in Semifinal II at 5 p.m. CT on Friday, with the action airing on ESPN2.

When the Sooners step onto the floor Friday night, they will begin their pursuit of the fifth national title in program history. OU's first title came in 2014 when it tied with Florida. The next three were secured outright in 2016, 2017 and 2019.

The Sooners have combined for six perfect 10s this season. Anastasia Webb (VT, UB, BB), Evy Schoepfer (VT) and Olivia Trautman (VT) have all earned at least one perfect score in 2021. Webb needs just a perfect score on floor to earn a "Gym Slam" with a perfect 10 on every event.

OU advanced to a 17th-straight NCAA Championship with an 11th-straight regional title. OU has appeared at the NCAA Championships 20 times in program history.

Anastasia Webb was named the Big 12 Gymnast of the Year Award in 2021, marking the 15th time a Sooner has won the award. A Sooner has claimed the honor in each of the last nine seasons under head coach K.J. Kindler.

Anastasia Webb and Evy Schoepfer finished the year tied as the No. 1 gymnasts in the nation on vault. The duo each earned a perfect 10 on the event, with Webb earning two perfect scores.

Once again, the Sooners posted the highest regional score with a 198.175 in the Tuscaloosa Regional Final. OU was the only school to break the 198 mark on both days of regional competition with a 198.000 on day one.

Anastasia Webb has claimed 64 event titles in her career and is tied with Haley Scaman for second all-time. Webb leads the Sooners with an incredible 30 event titles in 2021, the most in a single season in her career.

The Sooners posted their second highest vault score in school history with a 49.750. All six Sooners in the lineup posted at least a 9.9 on their 10.0 start value vault with Anastasia Webb earning a perfect 10 and Evy Schoepfer adding a 9.975.

The Sooners are in search of a fourth national title in five years in 2021. The Sooners have dominated in recent years, earning three titles at the last four NCAA Championships. If the Sooners win, they will join Alabama, Georgia, UCLA and Utah as the only programs with at least five titles. With no championship in 2020 due to COVID-19, this would be the second time in school history that the Sooners won back-to-back titles.

Due to injury, Olivia Trautman missed competing floor her entire sophomore season and most of her junior year. Between her final floor performance in 2019 and her return, 712 days had gone by. Trautman didn't miss a beat, earning a 9.95 in her first performance back in the lineup - the same score she earned in her final performance at the 2019 NCAA Championship.
The Sooners will face No. 3 LSU, No. 6 Utah and No. 7 Alabama in Semifinal II, while No. 1 Florida, No. 4 Michigan, No. 5 California and No. 8 Minnesota will compete in Semifinal I. The top two teams from each session will advance to Saturday's final four scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
