NORMAN – The Oklahoma rowing team announces its 2021 schedule on Wednesday, competing in five events throughout the spring.
"We're looking forward to competing this spring and are excited to host two home events," said OU head coach
Leeanne Crain. "It's been a crazy year but our team has done an incredible job of remaining focused. We're excited to get back out on the race course."
The Sooners open the season with a pair of home events on the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City, hosting Kansas State in a scrimmage on March 13 and competing in a dual with Kansas on March 27.
Oklahoma last competed in a regatta in November 2019 before having to cancel its spring and fall schedules.
The Sooners will head to South Carolina for the Clemson Invitational on April 17 and compete at the Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas the following weekend (April 24).
The Big 12 Championship is slated for May 16 and will be hosted by Texas.
