BRADENTON, Fla. – OU alum Danielle Robinson and the Las Vegas Aces have secured the No. 1 seed for the 2020 WNBA Playoffs, the league announced.
The Aces will receive a double bye to the semifinals, which will be played as a best-of-five series beginning Sept. 20 inside the WNBA Bubble at IMG Academy.
The Playoffs begin Sept. 15 with the first round of elimination games. The second round of elimination games will take place on Sept. 17.
Robinson and the Aces will face the winner of the second round elimination game between the No. 4 seed Minnesota Lynx and a round one winner to be determined.
The championship series will begin Friday, Oct. 2 and will run through Sunday, Oct. 11 if necessary.
The Aces finished the season at 18-4 overall, winning their last six games consecutively to lock up the No. 1 seed.
Robinson averaged 7.4 points per game to go with 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists during the regular season, her ninth in the WNBA.
