Find answers to frequently asked questions regarding OU's transition to digital tickets and parking passes.


Why have we moved to digital ticketing?
Digital Tickets provide a safe and contactless environment for our fans. Digital ticketing also provides:

  • Quick and easy entry to all venues using your mobile phone or smart device
  • Instant access to all your season tickets through the Oklahoma Sooners app
  • The ability to manage, transfer and sell your tickets at any time
  • Reduced risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets

How does mobile ticket delivery work?
Tickets for all OU Athletic events no longer include a printable PDF option. This decision was made to move to a contactless entry for the safety of our fans.Ā  Mobile ticketing also protects the integrity of your tickets and prevents fraud and counterfeit problems that often accompany PDF tickets. Printed PDF tickets WILL NOT be accepted at any OU Athletics venues for admittance. All season tickets and single-game tickets are fully digital and only accessible via your mobile device. Your phone is your ticket!

How do I get the Oklahoma Sooners app?
You can download the official Oklahoma Sooners app free of charge from the App Store or Google Play.

What should I do if I cannot remember my password?
Please select "Forgot Password" on the Log In page. You will then be sent an email. Please give it some time to receive this email and check your spam, junk or clutter. Please do not continue to select "Forgot Password" as this will only delay a solution. If you have not received this email after one hour of selection, please contact outickets@ou.edu or call (405) 325-2424.

How do I know if I already have an OU Athletics Ticket account?
You will have an OU Athletics Ticket account if you have done any of the following:

  • Paid or renewed your season tickets online
  • Paid or renewed your Sooner Club membership online
  • Have ever been transferred a ticket through the app or online portal

What if I am a season ticket holder and have never set up an online account?

  • Please activate your account here.
  • Using your Account Number, you can call the OU Athletic Ticket Office to receive a pin number at (405) 325-2424.

What if my guest(s) and I arrive to the venue at different times?
Each person entering the stadium will need a ticket to get in. You can transfer each member their ticket individually prior to your arrival. For more information on how to transfer tickets, click here.

What if my smartphone or phone battery dies on game day?
We will offer assistance at our ticket resolution windows at Gate 5 and Gate 7 as well as the main box office outside of Gate 2.

Why don't I see a barcode/QR code on my tickets when I add them to my wallet?
The ticket barcode/QR code won't be loaded until 48 hours prior to the start of the event.Ā 

Can I print off the QR code/ticket at home?
Please do not print your tickets off at home. If you attempt to print it off at home, you will be redirected to the OU Athletic Ticket Office.

Can I have multiple tickets on one phone?
Yes, you will have the ability to swipe through multiple tickets on your phone. However, we recommend transferring each person their ticket in case you wish to enter the stadium at separate times.

Can I transfer my tickets more than one time?
Tickets can be transferred more than once; however, only once by the person in possession of the tickets.

Can digital tickets be transferred after adding to my wallet?
Tickets cannot be transferred from your mobile wallet, however, go to the Oklahoma Sooners app to transfer your desired ticket(s). You should then remove the ticket from your mobile wallet to prevent an accidental scan upon entry which could lead to the ticket being inactive for your desired recipient as it has already been scanned.

Can I use digital tickets if I do not have smartphone?
Yes. We recommend contacting the OU Athletics Ticket Office to make arrangements for the recipient as they will not be able to use the digital ticket option on game day without a smartphone.

Can digital tickets be downloaded onto a desktop computer?
No. A barcode transferred to paper is not accepted at the gate. Mobile tickets on a mobile device are the only acceptable tickets at the gate.

Is there Wi-Fi at the stadium to be able to download the tickets?
Our stadium is equipped with Wi-Fi services. However, to guarantee seamless entry, we recommend downloading your tickets prior to arriving at the stadium. They can be saved directly to the Oklahoma Sooners app, Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet. For more information on how to access tickets, click here.

Why haven't I received my digital tickets?
It could be one of the following:

  1. Make sure the email address that the OU Ticket Office has the correct email address.
  2. Check your junk mail folder.
  3. Be sure to add outickets@ou.edu and updates@soonerfan.soonersports.com to your safe-senders list.

Who do I contact if I need assistance?
