NORMAN – Oklahoma women's basketball head coach
Sherri Coale announced the signing of Heavenly Greer on Wednesday.
A 6-3 forward out of Ganesha High School in Pomona, Calif., Greer was a McDonald's All-America Game nominee and is ranked No. 23 in her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz as well as No. 59 nationally by Prospects Nation.
"Heavenly Greer is going to be a tremendous addition to our roster," said Coale. "She adds size and athleticism, as well as a versatile skill set. Her ceiling as a Division I basketball player will be really high. We're excited for her to get to Norman to get to work."
While at Ganesha, Greer was the CIF Southern Section District 5A Player of the Year as well as a First Team All-Area and All-Miramonte League selection and California All-State nominee.
Greer led Ganesha to the CIF Southern Section Division 5A championship and the CIF State Championship's second round. During her senior season, Greer averaged a stuffed stat sheet: 26 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks, five steals and seven assists per game.
Greer scored 1,403 points and pulled down 820 boards during her prep career while also recording a monster 312 blocks.
She joins
Navaeh Tot as a part of OU's signing class for the 2020-21 season.
