The honor comes after Wenske posted an 80.500 in the all-around competition against No. 2 Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday.
The Houston native collected one career high and two season bests on the weekend. Wenske led the way for the Sooners on still rings with a second-place 14.200. The award marks Wenske's first career MPSF weekly honor and the Sooners' first of the season.
