NORMAN – After posting the nation's top score of the weekend with a 197.900, the Oklahoma women's gymnastics team remained in the No. 1 spot in the country.

OU improved to 11-0 on the year with a 197.900-195.225 win over Texas Woman's on Sunday in Denton, Texas. The Sooners are averaging a 197.782 through their first seven meets of the year to maintain their hold on the No. 1 ranking. The Sooners have now been ranked No. 1 every week since Jan. 7, 2019.

The rest of the top five saw minimal shifting as Florida (197.650) and Utah (197.065) remained in second and third, respectively. UCLA moved into fourth (197.050) while Denver dropped to fifth (196.992).

Oklahoma remained the top vault (49.461) and bars (49.536) team in the nation. The Sooners rank third on beam (49.400) and floor (49.386).

Eight Sooners combined for 16 individual national rankings. Senior Maggie Nichols is No. 1 in the all-around (39.775) and on vault (9.954). She is No. 3 on floor (9.95) and second on bars (9.943).

Junior Anastasia Webb ranks No. 14 in the all-around (39.418), ninth on vault (9.886) and 13th on beam (9.886). Senior Jade Degouveia is ranked on a pair of events, coming in at No. 6 on bars (9.918) and No. 14 on vault (9.879).

Freshman Ragan Smith is ranked 16th in the all-around with a 39.363 average and 24th on beam with a mark of 9.871. Sophomore Olivia Trautman is No. 17 on bars (9.875) and 15th on vault (9.875). Sophomore Allie Stern is No. 20 on vault (9.871), while juniors Evy Schoepfer and Carly Woodard are tied for 20th on beam (9.875).  

The Sooners are back at home Friday to take on Texas Woman's and West Virginia at 6:45 p.m. CT inside Lloyd Noble Center. Single-meet tickets for the 2020 season are currently available for purchase. Tickets are available for $10 for general admission and $15 for reserved seating. Youth (6-18) and senior (55+) season tickets are $8. Discounted tickets are available for $5 for groups of 10 or more. Group tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the event.
