NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma cross country teams returned to the course Saturday morning at the OSU Invitational at the Oklahoma State Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Okla.
The OU women's squad placed fifth in the 6K competition, finishing in a total time of 2:00:35 for 160 points. The Sooner men finished eighth in the 8K with a total time of 2:15:48 and 230 points.
Carson Hockersmith led the women with a 38th-place finish in 23:05.2, while Ryan Teuscher paced the men in 67th (26:14.3).
The Sooners return to action Oct. 30 in Lawrence, Kan., for the 2020 Big 12 Cross Country Championship on the campus of Kansas. The meet is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. CT.
