Sooners in OKC Gameday Information

January 21, 2020 | Men's Basketball

The University of Oklahoma will play two men's basketball games in downtown Oklahoma City at Chesapeake Energy Arena during the 2019-20 season. The Sooners will host Mississippi State (Jan. 25) and Texas Tech (Feb. 25) in OKC and both games will be included in 2019-20 season ticket packages, including student season tickets.

Located 22 miles north of the OU campus, Chesapeake Energy Arena and downtown Oklahoma City offer Sooner fans a unique game day experience. The 18,203-seat arena is home to the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder and is located within walking distance of the central business core, Bricktown entertainment district and Scissortail Park.

Below is a fan guide for gameday information at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

TICKETS

•  Both games are included in Oklahoma's season ticket package and tickets have been shipped to season ticket holders. If season ticket holders have any additional questions, they can contact the ticket office at outickets@ou.edu or by calling (405) 325-2424.

•  Single-game tickets remain available starting at $20. Tickets can be purchased at SoonerSports.com/Tickets.

OU STUDENT TICKETS

•  Both games are also included in OU's student ticket package. Unlike games at Lloyd Noble Center, where students can simply swipe their OU ID, students will need to have a physical ticket for games at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

•  General admission student tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis beginning at 8 a.m. CT on Tuesday. Tickets can be picked up at the OU Ticket Office. Once the general admission allotment has been claimed, OU students will have the opportunity to claim lower bowl reserved seats.

•  OU students without season tickets are able to buy a single-game ticket in the student areas for $10.

GAMEDAY TICKET INFORMATION

•  Ticket office representatives will be on site at the main Chesapeake Energy Arena box office beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday to assist in public and student gameday sales.

•  The box office and will call windows are located on the arena's north side off of Reno Ave. between Robinson and E.K. Gaylord.

•  Chesapeake Energy Arena allows fashion style backpack purses, clutches, purses, diaper bags and single-compartment drawstring bags that are smaller than 14" x 14" x 6". All larger bags are prohibited. Fans can view the arena's bag policy here.
