NORMAN ā University of Oklahoma head rowing coach Leeanne Crain and the 2019-20 Sooner rowing team welcomed several newcomers to Norman this fall. Get to know a little about each member of the class and their accomplishments on and off the water.
The talented class features accomplished athletes that represent five countries from across the globeĀ who have exhibited success at the state, national and international levels.
"We are thrilled to welcome this extraordinary group of athletes to our program," saidĀ Crain. "We have representation from fiveĀ different countries in this signing class and are super excited to begin practices.Ā It was obvious through the recruiting process that each of these individuals would fit in well with our team, help us achieve our competitive goals and contribute to our amazing team culture."
The Oklahoma rowing team will open their fall season Oct. 5 at the Head of the Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
