Dear Sooner Club,
The 2019 volleyball season is off to a great start! Our team put in a lot of hard work during the preseason and has reaped the benefits of it during the last few weeks. We swept our last two tournaments of the year, going 3-0 at the Hoosier Classic in Indiana before coming home to Norman and battling for three more wins at the Nike Invitational inside McCasland Field House.
The support from Sooner Nation has been incredible! After spending the first two weeks of the season on the road, it was wonderful to be able to come home and play in front of such energetic crowds . YOU made the difference as we played against high-level teams. We've also enjoyed having fans right next to the action in our new courtside seats. I'm told there are still a few available!
Not only do we have the best fans in the nation, but some of the best facilities. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to open a new team room and a new locker room last season. Both of these have been huge for player development, as we now have a state-of-the-art space to watch film, meet with our team and share meals – which in turn has impacted our recruiting because we're able to provide our student-athletes with top-tier amenities inside McCasland.
Sooner Nation, you've truly helped us make the Field House our home and we can't thank you enough for your support during games and in improving our facilities. We look forward to continuing to grow the program in every way!
