Patty Gasso announced five new additions to the Oklahoma coaching staff Wednesday as
Paige Parker joins the team as volunteer assistant;
Kelsey Arnold was named graduate assistant; and
Sydney Romero,
Falepolima Aviu and
Shay Knighten will serve as student assistants for the 2019-2020 school year.
Some of the most decorated Sooners in program history, Parker, Arnold, Romero, Aviu and Knighten were all members of the Oklahoma teams that won back-to-back national championships in 2016 and 2017. Additionally, the five OU standouts account for nine All-America honors; 17 All-Big 12 selections; five Big 12 regular season titles; three Big 12 Tournament Championships; and four Women's College World Series appearances.

The Sooners are set to host eight games at Marita Hynes Field this fall. The fall slate begins Oct. 4-5 with the annual Fall Festival Tournament. Oklahoma opens play on Friday, Oct. 4 with Trinity Valley CC at 4:45 p.m. CT, followed by Seward CC at 7 p.m. OU is set for contests with Seminole State at 4:45 p.m. and Connors State at 7 p.m. on Oct. 5.
OU will host a midweek matchup with North Texas on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. in a pink game for breast cancer awareness. The Sooners welcome Crowder College on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. and North Central Texas College Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.
OU rounds out the fall slate with UT-Arlington on Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for all games will be sold at the gate. All seating is general admission. Ticket sales will be cash only and will cost $8.00 for adult general admission and $5.00 for youth and senior citizens. OU students will be admitted for free with a student ID.
