Coaches Clinic Set for October 5

Area basketball coaches are invited to attend a free coaching clinic hosted by Sherri Coale and the University of Oklahoma women's basketball staff at Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 9 a.m.
Entry deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Legacy Court located on the second floor of the practice facility (enter on the southeast corner of the building). There is no charge to attend the clinic.
The teaching will begin in the newly opened Griffin Family Performance Center with OU's performance coach, Aaron Heishman. The clinic will then transition to the practice gym floor for a session from associate head coach Coquese Washington and assistant coaches Jackie Stiles Colton Coale. Head Coach Sherri Coale will finish the morning off and will save time at the end to answer questions. The clinic will break at 11:30 a.m. for participants to go off campus for lunch.
Team practice will immediately follow the lunch break at 1 p.m. Following practice, Coach Coale will cover specific details of practice, practice planning and practice evaluation. As always, the entire staff will be available to answer questions at the end of the clinic.
