Sooners Kick Off School Year With Ice Cream Social

NORMAN - A little rain wasn't going to stop a lot of fun on Thursday as the Sooners hosted their annual Fast Break Club Ice Cream Social.
Originally scheduled to take place at Norman's Reeves Park, the event was moved indoors to the Lloyd Noble Center's Courtside Club.
The room was filled with sweet treats, games and Sooner fans eager to catch up with their favorite players.
Head coach Sherri Coale and the Sooners took time to mingle with fans throughout the evening as well taking time to answer questions about the upcoming season. Fans also had their first chance to meet OU's incoming freshmen class.
Fans got a chance to participate in a Q&A session with the team as the Sooners previewed the upcoming year.
Players, coaches and staff spent nearly two hours interacting with fans and supporters. Coale also updated Fast Break Club members on the offseason, introduced the 2019-20 roster to fans while each player discussed what they've improved on and are looking forward to in the upcoming season.
