FIRST PITCH

• Oklahoma continues its homestand with a four-game series against Columbia Friday and Saturday at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The Sooners and Lions will play doubleheaders Friday and Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m. each day.
• The Sooners were scheduled to play six games in six days this week, with two midweek contests and four games Friday through Sunday. Winter weather forced the cancellation of Wednesday's game against UAPB and condensed the OU-Columbia series to four games in two days.
• Live video streaming for all four games will be available via SoonerSports.tv, and live stats will be available via SoonerSports.com.
• Oklahoma is 7-1 for the second time in three years. Prior to 2017 – when Skip Johnson joined the Sooners as pitching coach – OU had not started a season 7-1 or better since it began the 2013 season 10-0.
• A pair of OU players earned Big 12 honors this week. Tyler Hardman was named the Big 12 Player of the Week and Nathan Wiles was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week. It was the first weekly honors of the season for the Sooners.
• OU ranks seventh in the country with a 1.62 team ERA. The Sooners have allowed just 17 runs this season, 13 of which have been earned.

• The approved clear plastic bag size is a maximum of 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Stadium policy will allow non-transparent clutch purses that are no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
