NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team posted the highest score on the weekend with a 198.075 to stay atop the rankings for the seventh consecutive week.
The Sooners, who posted their third score of 198.00 or better, have now been the No. 1 team in the nation for a total of 59 weeks since the start of the 2015 season.
OU sits in the top spot for the seventh straight week with an average of 197.850. UCLA jumped back up to the No. 2 spot with a 197.639 average, followed by Florida at No. 3 (197.613). Utah (1197.179) and LSU (197.000) sit at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
The Sooners are the No. 1 team on three of four events, with a No. 1 ranking on vault (49.471), bars (49.518) and beam (49.418). OU sits at No. 3 on floor with a 49.443 average.
Eight Sooners hold 23 individual rankings, highlighted by three gymnasts in the top five of the all-around rankings. Freshman Olivia Trautman remains in the top spot with a 39.725 average, followed by junior Maggie Nichols at No. 2 with a 39.700 average. Senior Brenna Dowell (39.617) sits in fourth, while sophomore Anastasia Webb (39.450) ranks 11th.
Trautman and Nichols rank in the top 25 on all four events and the all-around. Trautman ranks second on floor (9.954), sixth on vault (9.893), 17th on beam (9.864) and 21st on bars (9.875). Nichols is ranked first on vault (9.942) and bars (9.950), fourth on beam (9.914) and 14th on floor (9.900).
Dowell is ranked on three events, sitting at No. 4 on vault (9.900), tied for seventh on beam (9.900) and seventh on floor (9.925). Webb ranks 16th on floor (9.896) and 20th on bars (9.886).
Senior Nicole Lehrmann and junior Jade Degouveia are each ranked on a pair of events. Lehrmann ranks third on bars with a 9.925 average and is tied with for 10th on vault (9.879). Degouveia is fourth on vault (9.900) and tied for 17th on floor (9.893).
Sophomore Evy Schoepfer and is tied for 13th on beam with a 9.875 and sophomore Karrie Thomas is tied for 21st on bars with a 9.875 average.
The Sooners head to West Virginia for a conference matchup on Sunday, Feb. 24. The meet is slated for a 1 p.m. CT start in Morgantown, W.Va.
