Defending Champs to be Televised Nationally

NORMAN – The defending national champion Oklahoma women's gymnastics team will be featured four times on ESPN networks during the regular season.  

The Sooners' Jan. 11 meet at Arizona State will air on ESPNU at 5:30 p.m. CT. The following week, OU will travel to Alabama for an 8 p.m. CT meet on ESPN2.

In a rematch of the Big 12 Championship and NCAA Finals, Denver will make the journey to Norman on Feb. 29, for an 11:30 a.m. battle on ESPNU.

The Big 12 Championship will air at 7 p.m. on ESPNU from Morgantown, W.Va.

Both NCAA Championship semifinal matches will air on ESPN2. Semifinal I will take place at noon CT with semifinal II at 5 p.m. CT on April 17. The four-team final will air April 18 at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

All five of Oklahoma's home meets will be televised through Sooner Sports TV: Arkansas (Jan. 20), Iowa State (Jan. 31), West Virginia/TWU (Feb. 14), Stanford (Feb. 21) and Michigan (March 6).

The Sooners open the 2020 season on Jan. 4 at the Collegiate Challenge in Anaheim, Calif.
