Sooner Showcase Tonight

NORMAN – As Oklahoma women's basketball prepares for the 2019-20 season, the team is inviting fans to attend its annual Sooner Showcase at Lloyd Noble Center on Monday, Oct. 21.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. CT with the event scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CT. Admission is free to the Sooner Showcase and fans can enter the building from the upper east entrance. OU's clear bag policy will be in effect.
SoonerSports.TV will stream the event for free.
The Sooner Showcase will feature OU's squad participating in a variety of drills and skills competition throughout the night. Head coach Sherri Coale will also introduce her team to fans during the event.
Fans of all ages attending the Sooner Showcase will have the opportunity to get autographs with the team and Coach Coale following the event. The night also provides a great opportunity to meet associate head coach Coquese Washington and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Jackie Stiles.
Kids 12 and under will also have a chance to shoot on the Lloyd Noble center court at the conclusion of the autograph session.
Snow cones will be available to fans on a first-come, first-serve basis, as well as a face-painting station for children in attendance.
Fast Break Club members are also invited to the annual pizza dinner and autograph session with the team prior to the start of the event inside the women's basketball practice gym. The pizza dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. CT.
To join the Fast Break Club, call the OU women's basketball office at (405) 325-8322. Benefits of the membership include an OU Women's Basketball media guide, invitations to select preseason and postseason events including luncheons with Coach Coale and the opportunity to play in the Fast Break Club Golf Tournament.
OU begins its 2019-20 schedule on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. CT with an exhibition game at Lloyd Noble Center against Oklahoma City University. The Sooners open the regular season on Nov. 8 against Prairie View A&M in the Preseason WNIT at 8 p.m. CT.
