Summer Begins With Fast Break Club Tournament

NORMAN – Summer is officially underway as the Oklahoma women's basketball program kicked off the 2017-18 season by hosting its annual Fast Break Club Golf Tournament.
Participants met the 2018-19 Sooner squad, including OU's new-member signing class of Nydia Lampkin, Jessi Murcer, Taylor Robertson, Tatum Veitenheimer, Madi Williams and Aspen Williston. The funds raised by this event will assist in the Sooners' upcoming foreign tours as well as other special projects for the women's basketball program.
The OU coaches, staff and players and title sponsor Barcas LLC hosted a day of golf at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. A total of 132 golfers made up 33 teams raising more than $40,000 for the women's basketball program.
