Notes

Team:

  • Oklahoma hit a home run for the fifth consecutive game after Cade Cavalli drilled a solo home run in the third inning. OU's last stretch with five straight games with a home run came April 6-11 (TCU, Little Rock and Oral Roberts).
  • OU recorded two triples, both coming in the first inning. The last time the Sooners recorded two triples in one game came on Feb. 21, 2017, versus Grambling State.
  • The Sooners fell to 18-4 this year when scoring in the first inning.
  • OU is 14-5 this season when scoring five or more runs.

Cade Cavalli

  • Hit his fifth home run of the season with a solo shot in the second inning.

Kyler Murray:

  • Recorded his team-leading third triple of the season.
  • Picked up his 10th home run of the season, which ranks second on the team.
  • Has 11 games with multiple RBI this season.
  • Earned his 18th multi-hit game of the season and 19th of his career. 

Brandon Zaragoza

  • Earned his 16th multi-hit game of the year and 27th of his career.
  • Made his 102nd straight start at shortstop.
