NOTES AND NUMBERS FOR MEET SIX

OKLA-HOME-A
The No. 1 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team will travel to Oklahoma City for the Perfect 10 Challenge at the Cox Convention Center Friday, Feb. 16, at 6:45 p.m. versus Nebraska. The meet will air on Fox Sports Oklahoma. OU is currently 3-0 in the state of Oklahoma this season.

THERE'S ONLY ONE
After posting a 198.150 to tie the highest score in the nation this season, the Oklahoma women's gymnastics team remained the No. 1 team in the nation. The Sooners now boast a 197.880 average after putting up three-straight scores of 198 or higher. As a team, Oklahoma also holds the top spot on vault (49.490), bars (49.495) and beam (49.525). On floor, the Sooners are ranked fourth (49.370).

TOP TOTALS
Of the top scores so far this season, OU has three that rank in the top five and four that rank in the top 10. OU holds the top three scores with totals of 198.150 (vs. North Carolina), 198.125 (at Florida) and 198.050 (at UCLA), while it's 197.550 against Georgia is tenth.

THE BEAM QUEENS
The Sooners are known for their consistent success on beam, and this season, they have continued to shine. The Sooners have been No. 1 on the event every week this season, holding a 49.525 average currently. Each season since 2010, OU has finished first or second in the nation on beam, including six seasons in first. Individually, sophomore Maggie Nichols is ranked No. 2 on beam with a 9.935 average following a weekend in which she scored her second perfect 10.0 of the season. Sophomore Bre Showers is also ranked in the top five, coming in at No. 4 (9.910) Junior Nicole Lehrmann is ranked 21st on the event (9.865).

TO 198 AND BEYOND
Oklahoma has posted three straight scores of 198 or higher this season. The Sooners are the only team to put up more than one mark of 198 or higher and only one other school has reached the threshold this season (Florida, 198.150). In its last three meets, Oklahoma put up scores of 198.125, 198.050 and 198.150. In its last six meets, Oklahoma has reached the 198 threshold four times.  It's the first time in program history that the Sooners have scored a 198 or better in the back-to-back-to-back meets.

NUMBERS DON'T LIE
In this week's rankings the Sooners come in a full five-tenths higher than No. 2 UCLA. Oklahoma is averaging a 197.880 while UCLA is averaging 197.346, a difference of .534. To put into perspective just how impressive this is, the Sooners lowest score of 197.525 is still two-tenths better than UCLA's average.

CLOUD 9.9
With 120 routines under their belts, the Sooners have put up 57 scores of 9.9 or better. That means that 48 percent of Oklahoma's routines fall in the “excellent” category. OU's 57 scores of 9.9 leads the nation and what is more impressive is that the Sooners have done it in 24 less routines than every other team. Florida (51) and UCLA (50) have each tallied at least 50 scores of 9.9, and Utah and LSU have each put up 48, but have done so in 144 routines.

CLUB 197
The Sooners have posted a score of at least 197 or higher in 35 consecutive meets, dating back to the 2016 season. The last time Oklahoma scored lower than 197 was in the first meet of the 2016 season when they put up a 196.725. During the streak, the Sooners have posted 11 scores of 198 or higher, including four in their last six meets. Of the top five teams in the nation currently, only one school even comes close to matching the Sooners' dominance. LSU has scored a 197 or higher in its last 21 meets but has only posted a 198 or higher three times in the same stretch. Only 12 schools have posted a 197 or better this season and only OU and LSU have done it in every meet.
