Baseball Exhibition against Dallas Baptist Canceled

NORMAN – The Oklahoma baseball fall exhibition game against Dallas Baptist scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to the inclement weather forecast for the Norman area.
The Sooners and Patriots were originally set to meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The schools are working to reschedule the contest, but no makeup date has been set.
Oklahoma fall baseball workouts will run through the end of October. All OU fall practices take place at L. Dale Mitchell Park and are open to the public.
The Sooners baseball and softball teams are teaming up for the second straight year to host a Halloween Game on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The two Sooner programs have launched a fundraising campaign with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to support The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center. The fundraiser will culminate with the intrasquad scrimmage, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Marita Hynes Field. Click here for more information and how to donate.
