NORMAN – Sooner Sports TV has committed to broadcasting six University of Oklahoma volleyball home matches in addition to SoonerSports.tv streams for the remaining games on the home slate. The Sooners' home match against Texas has also been picked up for a national TV broadcast airing on ESPN2 on Sunday, October 22 at 3 p.m.

All 11 matches played at McCasland Field House will be televised or streamed this season beginning with a SoonerSports.tv exclusive opening night against Seton Hall on Friday, August 25 at the NIKE Invitational. A SoonerSports.tv exclusive will be a full television-style broadcast that will be streamed live on SoonerSports.tv rather than on a linear television channel. Sooner Sports TV will also feature OU volleyball exclusively on SoonerSports.tv on November 15 against Iowa State.

Matches two and three of the NIKE Invitational against Northwestern State and Colorado will both be aired on FOX Sports Oklahoma. The Sooners will also play Kansas State on September 20 and Texas Tech on October 4 in matches that will air on the FOX Sports family of networks with specific channels to be announced at a later date.

Oklahoma vs. Texas on October 22 marks the third year in a row that ESPN has selected OU as the site for one of its nationally telecast Big 12 volleyball matches. Last season, the Sooners stunned No. 4 Texas with a first-set win before falling, 3-1.

All six home matches televised or streamed exclusively on SoonerSports.tv will also be broadcast on local radio by Sportstalk 1400 AM/99.3 FM.

The remaining four matches against Kansas (Oct. 7), Baylor (Oct. 28), West Virginia (Nov. 4) and TCU (Nov. 25) will be streamed on SoonerSports.tv.

Veteran OU broadcaster Chad McKee returns as the television voice of the Sooners once again. He will be joined by color analysts Laura Alford, who played collegiately at Hawai'i and coached at Cincinnati, and Jennifer Robinson, who played collegiately at Florida. Robinson will also provide color on radio broadcasts alongside Sooners football sideline reporter Chris Plank handling the play-by-play.
