NORMAN The NCAA has released details on the 2017 women's gymnastics championships, scheduled for April 14 and 15 inside Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Mo.

The No. 1 seed Oklahoma Sooners will compete in Semifinal I at noon CT on Friday, April 14. OU will face No. 4 Utah, No. 5 UCLA, No. 8 Oregon State, No. 9 Denver and No. 13 Washington, with the top three teams advancing to the NCAA Super Six on Saturday night.

Semifinal I action will air on ESPN2, while the team finals can be watched on ESPNU.

Competing on the opposite side of the bracket for a shot at a NCAA title will be No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Florida, No. 6 Alabama, No. 7 Michigan, No. 10 Georgia and No. 14 Nebraska. The second semifinal will begin at 7 p.m. CT on Friday and air on ESPNU.

The Sooners will begin on the bye before floor and rotate through the remaining events (vault, bye, bars, beam). Auburn all-around gymnast Katie Becker will rotate with OU through all events, while Arkansas' Braie Speed will compete during the vault rotation.

OU won its eighth consecutive regional title last Saturday night, taking first place at the NCAA Seattle Regional to earn a spot in the championship field of 12. The Sooners' score of 198.075 was the nation's highest qualifying score this season. OU captured six individual titles, all with scores of 9.95. Junior AJ Jackson and freshman Maggie Nichols shared the top honor on vault, while Nichols and senior Chayse Capps finished first on beam. Nichols also claimed the top spot on floor and secured the all-around title with a 39.750.
