Sophomore center fielder Steele Walker moved to the top of the OU roster with a .358 batting average. He also leads the Sooners with a .574 slugging percentage, 39 runs, 41 RBI, 11 doubles and six home runs. Senior right-handed pitcher JB Olson returned to the OU bullpen this past weekend for the first time in nearly three weeks. He is 3-0 with a 1.20 earned run average and six saves. In 30 innings across 19 appearances, he has struck out 34 batters. Starting on the hill, Oklahoma looks to sophomore right-hander Dylan Grove; in need of a bounce back performance. He has not gotten out of the first inning in each of his last two starts; throwing 21 pitches on Sunday vs. KU. Grove is 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 34.2 innings pitched.

May 12-14 | Norman, Okla. The Sooners play their final home series of the season against TCU on May 12-14. Oklahoma will celebrate its 1951 National Championship at the Friday opener with a '51 style hat giveaway. TICKETS |
The Sooners and Mavericks met twice in 2014 with OU claiming a 3-2, extra-inning win at Globe Life Park, the home of the Texas Rangers, in March and UTA winning 6-5 in Norman in April. Taylor Alspaugh lifted Oklahoma to the win in Arlington; belting the first pitch of the 10th inning over the wall in the right field corner. Sheldon Neuse went 4-for-5 with two runs scored. In Norman, the Sooners trailed 6-1 after the Mavs batted in the eighth. Oklahoma would rally for two in the eighth and two in the ninth before stranding the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position. Neuse drove in both runs in the ninth and pitched the top half to keep OU within striking distance as he needed just nine pitches to strike out one and put UTA down in order.
Oklahoma has played 19 consecutive games against RPI top-100 teams beginning with Oklahoma State (3/21). Over that span, the Sooners own a 7-12 record, including 4-3 at home, 3-9 on the road, 6-6 in the Big 12 and 4-6 against ranked opponents. In those 16 games, Steele Walker is hitting a team-best .373 (25-for-67) with a .597 slugging and .481 on-base percentage for a 1.078 OPS with 18 runs scored and 16 driven in. Renae Martinez has driven in 13 runs on a .343 (23-for-67) average. Right-hander Vincenzo Aiello has appeared in seven games out of the bullpen with 18 strikeouts in 10 innings and earned one save.
