Llanusa Earns WBCA All-America Honor

NORMAN - Oklahoma women's basketball signee Ana Llanusa has been named a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention selection.

Llanusa, a 6-0 guard from Choctaw, Okla., has led Choctaw High School to the Class 6A Tournamenet during her senior season. Llanusa is averaging over 19 points per game game this season and recently scored her 2,000th career point in high school.

The honor marked the first national accoloade for Llanusa this season, who is ranked the No. 3 guard and No. 20 overall by Prospect Nation. Llanusa was rated the No. 32 overall prospect in the 2017 class by ESPN HoopGurlz. 

She is also a three-time selection to the Oklahoman's Super 5 Team and was nominated to play in the 2017 McDonald's All-American game.

Llanusa along with Shaina Pellington and Mandy Simpson signed with the Sooners in Nov. 2016.
