SENIOR NIGHT
The No. 1 Oklahoma women's gymnatics team returns to Norman to take on No. 7 Georgia for the second consecutive meet. The two squads met at last week's GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational, with the Sooners finishing first and Gymdogs claiming third. On Friday, the Sooners will celebrate their 2017 senior class, which includes Chayse Capps, Reagan Hemry, Charity Jones, Kara Lovan, Nicole Turner and McKenzie Wofford. Since their arrival in Norman, the Sooners have secured two NCAA Championships (2014, 2016) and a third-place finish (2015). Capps, Jones, Lovan and Wofford have combined for an impressive 13 NCAA All-America honors in their careers.

RQS BREAKDOWN
This week marked the first time this season that rankings were determined by regional qualifying scores (RQS). RQS is based on a team's six best regular season scores, three of which must be away. The overall high score is eliminated, and the five remaining scores are averaged. RQS scores are used to determine seeding for regional competition at six campus sites on April 1. OU's RQS of 197.890 stands as the best mark in the nation, and it also has the highest total on all four events: vault (49.430), bars (49.495), beam (49.475) and floor (49.550). Seven Sooners hold a nation-leading total of 18 individual top-25 rankings, which are also determined by RQS beginning this week. Freshman Maggie Nichols secured an individual sweep, coming in first in the all-around and on all events.

RANKINGS SWEEP
This marks the third straight year the Sooners have swept the No. 1 rankings at some point during the regular season. OU is one of only four programs to achieve a No. 1 sweep since 1997, joining Florida, Georgia and UCLA.

TOP TOTALS
Of the top scores so far this season, four of OU's rank in the top 10, including three in the top four. The Sooners have scored at least 198 three times this season, with those marks checking in first (198.350, GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational), third (198.075, Perfect 10 Challenge) and fourth (198.025, vs. UCLA). The Sooners have the most top-10 scores of any team in 2017.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
On Friday, the Sooners will look to build upon their 84-4 all-time home record under 11th-year head coach K.J. Kindler. OU has claimed 22 straight victories in Norman, dating back to 2014.

KINDLER VS. SEC FOES
In 11 seasons, OU head coach K.J. Kindler has posted a 32-7 record in the regular season against SEC foes. This season, the Sooners are 5-0 against SEC teams, defeating Alabama (197.750-196.700) and Auburn (198.075-195.725) in dual meets and topping LSU, Georgia and Missouri at last weekend's GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational.

A GLANCE AT GEORGIA
The Gymdogs enter Friday's meet with a 6-4 record. Georgia holds wins over Auburn, NC State, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky and Missouri. At the GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational last Friday, UGA scored a 196.976, its highest road mark of 2017.

OU VS. GEORGIA HISTORY
In the all-time series between Oklahoma and Georgia, the Gymdogs hold a 16-12 advantage over the Sooners. However, the Sooners have won the last 10 meetings, including last Friday's showdown in the GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational in St. Charles, Mo. (198.350-196.975).

SWAGGIE MAGGIE
Oklahoma freshman Maggie Nichols has dazzled thus far on the collegiate gymnastics scene. Below are some of her accomplishments so far in 2017.

• Set OU's all-around program record with a huge 39.925 at the GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational on Feb. 17 with a 10.0 on beam and a trio of 9.975s on vault, bars and floor. The mark bested her own record of 39.875, recorded at West Virginia on Jan. 21. According to records from RoadtoNationals.com dating back to 1998, her 39.925 is the best score by a freshman. It is also the second-highest score since 1998 (39.975 - Mohini Bhardwaj, UCLA, 2001).

• Has scored four 10.0s (vault, beam [twice], floor) this season, becoming the first Sooner to ever post a perfect mark on three different events. She also has the second-most 10.0s in program history behind five for Haley Scaman (three on floor, two on vault).

• Recorded the first 10.0 of her career on vault at WVU. The perfect score was the second by a true freshman on any event in OU history, joining teammate Brenna Dowell (bars, 2014). Added a 10.0 on beam in OU's quad meet (Feb. 3) followed by one at the GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational (Feb. 17). Her 10.0 on floor came in the Perfect 10 Challenge (Feb. 10).

• Impressed in her debut against Alabama on Jan. 6, scoring a 39.725, the highest mark by a freshman in her first meet according to records from RoadtoNationals.com dating back to 1998.

The east entrances of Lloyd Noble Center will be open for general public and student access beginning at 5:15 p.m., 90 minutes prior to the start of the meet. ADA entrance will be at the lower south level.

Fans will reserved season tickets will have seats in sections LE3 or LE4, and the seat number info will be printed on the tickets. QUICK HITS

• Freshman Maggie Nichols (Big 12 Gymnast of the Week) and junior Stefani Catour (Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week) picked up conference honors on Tuesday. It was Nichols' eighth overall recognition, the most in league history for a single season, while Catour has earned two accolades in 2017.

• Three current Sooners have scored perfect 10.0s in their careers, including Brenna Dowell (UB, 2014), Chayse Capps (BB, 2016) and Maggie Nichols (VT, BB [twice] and FX, 2017).

• OU started 2017 ranked No. 1 in the NACGC/W Preseason Coaches' Poll for the second straight season. It marks the seventh straight year the Sooners have been ranked in the top five nationally to begin the season.

• Oklahoma returns eight previous NCAA All-Americans who own 21 total accolades: Natalie Brown (BB), Chayse Capps (VT, UB, BB, FX, AA), Brenna Dowell (UB, FX), Nicole Lehrmann (UB, BB), Kara Lovan (FX), AJ Jackson (VT, UB, FX), Charity Jones (VT, BB) and McKenzie Wofford (UB).

• With 291 victories at Oklahoma, head coach K.J. Kindler is within striking distance of her 300th win with the Sooners. For her coaching career, Kindler has 349 total victories.
