NORMAN – With the qualifying rounds in the books, OU junior Yul Moldauer has advanced to the all-around final and floor exercise event final at his World Championships debut in Montreal.
Moldauer compiled a score of 84.331 in the all-around to place seventh overall. The Arvada, Colo., native also took third with a score of 14.700 on the floor exercise, his best routine of the qualifying round, to secure a spot in Saturday's event final.
Former Sooner and 2016 Olympic bronze medal winner Alex Naddour will also make a finals appearance. The 2017 U.S. pommel horse national champion scored 14.966 on the apparatus for a third-place finish.
The World Championship all-around final will begin Thursday at 6 p.m. CT and will air live on the Olympic Channel.
Individual event finals are scheduled to begin Saturday at noon, with the tape-delay NBC broadcast airing from 1-4 p.m. CT.
