NORMAN -- A recent tour of the construction site at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium revealed just how impressive the renovated facility will be.
Installation of the new video board has begun. A total of 120 pieces will make up the 47-foot high by 167-foot wide structure, the second-largest in all of college athletics. The new south end zone suites, loge boxes and club areas are also taking shape, providing Sooner fans with a new type of luxury they haven't experienced before.
All fan areas are on schedule to be complete for the home opener vs. ULM on Sept. 10. For a closer look at the construction progress, click on the images below.
