  • The Sooners started three freshmen for their 11th lineup in the last 12 games to feature at least three freshmen and the 12th time overall this season.
  • Freshman infielder Thomas Hughes was in the lineup at first base to make his first career start.
  • Oral Roberts has won four in a row over Oklahoma with the Sooners still leading the all-time series, 37-33.
