Notes:

  • The Sooners improved to 7-0 in the all-time series with CSU Bakersfield.
  • Alex Wise recorded his eighth multi-hit game of the season and 11th of his career in game one.
  • Wise extended his reached base streak to 19 games and his hit streak to 10.
  • Jack Flansburg moved his reached base streak to 12 games and hit streak to nine.
  • Sheldon Neuse picked up two multi-hit games, including his second four-hit game of the year and fifth of his career, for the 48th of his career.
  • Neuse tripled for the third time this season and 13th in his career to tie him for ninth all-time at OU with Derek Wathan (1996-98) and Jim Richardson (1985-86).
  • Austin O'Brien hit his first home run of the season and sixth of his career.
