Notes:

  • Sheldon Neuse (back) was held out of the lineup for the first time in his collegiate career. His streak of 135 consecutive games started was snapped.

  • Alex Wise extended his reached base streak to 15 games.

  • In a 2-for-4 effort, Wise collected his fifth multi-hit game of the season and eighth of his career.

  • Steele Walker hit his first career home run.

  • Three hits allowed by Sooner pitchers is the second fewest of the season. Previously, OU held Central Arkansas (3/1) to one hit.

  • The game marked the first in program history between Oklahoma and Fresno State.

  • Oklahoma has won back-to-back for the first time since winning a third straight against Abilene Christian (2/24).

  • The Sooners are now 1-4 in one-run games this season and 2-6 in games decided by two runs or less.
