NORMAN – Behind a 10-0 fourth-quarter run, the No. 20/19 Oklahoma women's basketball team pulled away from TCU for a 77-64 victory on Saturday afternoon inside Lloyd Noble Center.

Vionise Pierre-Louis finished the contest with 14 points, all coming in the second half. The sophomore center tallied 11 of her 14 in the final quarter, finishing the game 5-of-6 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free throw line against TCU (12-10, 4-7 Big 12).

The Sooners (16-6, 7-4 Big 12) were paced by redshirt senior Kaylon Williams and junior Gioya Carter, who tallied 15 points each on 5-of-8 and 5-of-9 shooting from the field, respectively. Williams, who also grabbed seven rebounds and a career-high five assists, finished in double-figures for the 19th time this season and the 26th time in her last 30 games.

Derica Wyatt also reached double figures for OU in 23 minutes off the bench. The junior finished the contest with 10 points and hit a pair of 3-pointers, while redshirt junior Maddie Manning added nine points and six rebounds for the Sooners.

The Sooners came out firing, opening the contest with an 8-0 run to force a TCU timeout. But the Horned Frogs responded, using an 8-0 run of their own late in the first quarter to grab a 15-14 lead at the end of the period.

It was neck-and-neck throughout the rest of the first half as the two squads traded leads and entered the locker room knotted at 29-29. Williams paced the Sooners in the opening half with eight points.

The third quarter started just like the first, with OU building a lead behind an 8-0 run before the Horned Frogs climbed back into the game. Toward the end of the third quarter, Carter scored five straight points to give the Sooners the 49-47 advantage. OU took a 49-48 lead into the final frame.

With 8:04 left in the game, TCU's Jordan Moore recorded a 3-point play to give the Horned Frogs a 55-52 lead. In the next six possessions, TCU had five turnovers and two misses as the Sooners ran off 10 straight points to reclaim the lead for good.

The Horned Frogs cut the Sooners' advantage down to 62-58 with 3:56 to go, but OU turned to Carter and Pierre-Louis to seal the win. A jumper by Carter squashed TCU's momentum and Pierre-Louis completed a 3-point play to extended the OU lead to 67-58 with 2:32 remaining.

The OU defense held the Horned Frogs, the Big 12's leader in 3-point shooting percentage, to a season-low .133 mark on 2-of-15 shooting. The Sooners shot .491 (27-of-55) from the field in the contest and went 18-of-20 (.900) from the free throw line. In the second half, OU was 3-of-6 (50 percent) from 3-point range.

The Sooners finished with a 38-26 advantage on the glass against the Frogs. OU is 14-0 this season when outrebounding its opponent.

Junior Jada Butts led TCU with 16 points and six rebounds, while senior Veja Hamilton added 13 points.

OU hits the road for its next Big 12 matchup on Tuesday with Kansas State. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CT at Bramlage Coliseum.
